Family Photos While on Vacation in San Diego

What a smart idea Jayme & Jeff had; taking family photos while on vacation in San Diego. We met at the beach in La Jolla for some fun shots on the rocks, with The Shack, and even got up close and and personal with the surf and waves.

Windansea Beach Wedding – La Jolla, CA

Just a preview Melanie & Kyle’s beach wedding & sunset wedding reception from Windansea Beach in La Jolla…

We did a trial run on the beach with their engagement photos as well….

Beach – Family Portraits w 2.5 year old Nate & Baby on the Way

1-2-3…Jump! I think this photo series sums up 2.5 year old children really well. I was cracking up while editing them.

And what’s in here? Hmmmm….only holding still long enough to see if there really is a crab in the rocks. No crab; he told me he did see a pirate.

Maternity Photos on Windansea Beach in La Jolla

Windansea is arguably the most photogenic beach in San Diego. It’s always different ~ different shades of moss on the rocks, tides and waves with a mind of their own, new shades of blue to take you to Paradise. Oh yeah, and photo opps with Pro-Surfers like Shayne McIntyre!!! We might have been there for Matt & Amiee’s maternity photos, but I’m pretty sure the shot with Shayne will be their favorite!

Balboa Park Wedding – Administrative Courtyard and Spanish Village

Matt & Barbara’s romantic, rustic and ROWDY wedding in Balboa Park. The ceremony was at the elegant Administrative Courtyard, with whispers of Spain and Santa Barbara that set the scene. Act two was when the party got really jump’n, over in the Spanish Art Village. Don’t take my word for it, just see Matt in action below…

Wedding at the Catamaran Resort on Mission Bay

It might have rained in the days leading up to their beach front wedding at The Catamaran Resort, but like clockwork, the skies cleared for Amanda & Lynx. The sun was shining brightly as we did the first-look and group photos in the Gazebo Garden, taking full advantage of the lush tropical landscape. After the ceremony, these guys even found time to sneak in a quick round of volleyball with some of the locals!
